At this link you will find a tool which converts standard web pages into a text-only format, for ease of reading.   There is a quick to use on-line version of the software, and also a free downloadable version.

'Window Eyes' various-format web page viewer.
  At this link you will find a similar, but more complex tool which converts standard web pages into various formats, including braille.   However, this particular software is not free.
